Hi, my name’s Richard, I’m a native English speaker from near London, now living in Amsterdam. I have been teaching English one-to-one to adults for the last eight years and I have also taught in a language school in London. I have a CELTA – Certificate in English Language Teaching for Adults – and a BA(Hons) graduate degree in Modern History and Economics.

I can teach conversational, business and academic English. I can help with exam preparation (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE and CPE) and I can also help with CVs and interview practice. The lessons are structured around your needs and are a mixture of speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar. I work with newspaper and magazine articles as well as various textbooks. We can meet at any central location in Amsterdam. I am available both daytimes and evenings, including on Saturdays.

Cost: €25 for a 60-minute lesson or €35 for a 90-minute lesson. The first lesson is free-of-charge.
